Code editor

Instant Update has brand new code editor (Edit area) with syntax highlighting which will make editing of your pages easier. This is probably first of two editors you will see when you install Instant Update, and before you ask yourself (or us) where is WYSIWYG editor you saw in our online demo - you need to understand how Instant Update works.

Code editor consists of editor itself and controls which are located below editor. Controls are “Save” for saving file contents, “Insert existing content” - used for inserting Instant Update content in file (where you want it to appear) and “Other options”, such as link for making dynamic page out of your file, and link for inserting automatically generated navigation menu in file (where you want it to appear).

Notes
All files which you want to be edited with Instant Update code editor MUST be writable so our editor can store changes back to files.
If you can't see Instant Update header or footer in code editor, that means that you have NOT converted your web site properly.
As Edit area is third party software, please do not ask us for support related to this editor. Use official documentation instead.
