System requirements

Instant Update is low-system-requirements software and it can run on 99% web hosts in the world. Following system requirements are normal for every (dynamic) website and you can find them on many hosts today.

• 1 MySQL database ¹⁾
• PHP 4 or PHP 5
  • register_globals turned OFF
  • proper session handling
• 5 MB free web space for scripts
• Apache web server ²⁾
  • mod_rewrite (optional)

In order to be absolutely sure that your web server can run Instant Update we have made selfcheck script which can be used to determine whether your web server can run Instant Update or not. Please test your web server with this script before purchasing Instant Update.
