====== System requirements ======

Instant Update is low-system-requirements software and it can run on 99% web hosts in the world. Following system requirements are normal for every (dynamic) website and you can find them on many hosts today.

  * 1 MySQL database ((you can use existing forum/blog/whatever database and install IU next to other software's tables))
  * PHP 4 or PHP 5
    * register_globals turned **OFF**
    * proper session handling
  * 5 MB free web space for scripts
  * Apache web server ((optional but recommended - IU can run on any web server which supports PHP))
    * mod_rewrite (optional)

In order to be absolutely sure that your web server can run Instant Update we have made [[http://www.instant-update.com/plus/selfcheck-script.zip|selfcheck script]] which can be used to determine whether your web server can run Instant Update or not. Please test your web server with this script before purchasing Instant Update.
